Currently, only available in German, this is the first novel I have ever worked on. It follows Aden, a young technical prodigy from Earth (Year 3010) and Shyel, a genius that ensured the survival of his species despite the destruction of their planet, through an adventure through the universe. In order to explore what lies beyond their world and to deliver a head on head race against Angels of a different kind.
The sky had changed for now roughly over 30 years, the universe seemed to act in unpredictable ways, breaking the laws of known physics. Research could find out early on, that it was the collision of a different dimension with ours, hence it was called “The Collision”. Two suns in the sky, two moons in the night that were just projections of our Sun and our Moon and all other celestial bodies in our Solar System. Humanities first attempt was to find out if life somewhere else would be possible. Focusing all resources into the development of ships to reach other places. But after 15 years and a final devastatingly disappointing mission, humanity found out, there was no escape. The further they expanded, the more this anomaly seemed to progress with them. Telescopes didn’t show them how reality was playing out anymore, they just had to assume that this event, was happening everywhere and not only locally. With the intensifying effects of the collision, they came to the conclusion, that eventually everything would collapse in each other.
Just after a few years after the great panic, that came with the unfolding of the collision, the world was driven to humanities extremes. Where the gap between rich and poor was already beyond repair, where the worst traits managed to be the fittest and strongest throughout all classes. A world which forced those who couldn’t see any way out, into slavery of their worst selves, into violent gangs, paramilitary and terrorism.
Humans lost hope. The ones that made it into the highest class, succeeded in their plan of preparing for the only lifetime that mattered now, their own. Some, were taken into the plan, to keep up the stability within the society and to allow the controlled growth of those who belonged in it, making up the second class.
The highest one percent, out of own interest shared equities and assets with the ten percent to make it appealing to play along, especially in a world that had to endure the panic of billions after the Collision had unfolded, in a world that had no hope, scarce resources and was in collision course with the end itself, basically none of those who had been invited to a life full of pleasure declined and things normalized rather quickly...
