Hello Dear Designer,
before talking too much around the whole topic, i will get directly into the main important Points. I have added the Lore, because it is correlating with the whole concept/design of his abilities. The main Idea of Yone, as a Champ came to my mind years before, but back then it was just an “oh having someone directly related to Yasuo would be really nice” thought, and nothing more.
Recently, when reading more into Ionian Lore, i started imagining many different things in the World of Ionia. And then in one of those “Ionian days”, i came to the thought of bringing back Yone from death...with good old Ionian magic. And from that moment on, i was obsessed with the Idea.
The main basic Ideas for his Champion design, came in an instant and i started writing and afterwards, i worked many hours on ways to design his abilities, so that it would be something special, yet applicable into the world of League of Legend, finally i came to the following Champion design...I hope you will like it.
The art design is something, which should be completed in a collaboration, to combine the best way of creating and giving input to his design, but some iconic elements that should be considered would be the fleshy skin, not too zombieish, but rather like cool scars. Another Iconic Element would be that he is bald, but with one tail coming out at the center of his head (later it can also glow up). And his armor type should look damaged, especially at the spot on which Yasuo stabbed in.
Since Ionia, is a place full of magic, the roots of a magical tree, reached to Yone, where he was buried and woke him up from death. After fighting his way out of his grave,the determined and ambitious samurai he was, the first thing that came into his mind, was to finish his Mission. His Mission to set an end to the murder of his Master (and now also himself), Yasuo. But he knew, he couldn’t beat Yasuo, in his recent State. So he started researching ways to manipulate the one element, which was the weakness of Yasuo’s wind element, it was fire.
Yone found stories about a child, a child named Annie, who was capable of manipulating Fire, but there wasn’t much to find about her. Just rumors that she burned a whole Town in a rage burst and is wandering alone in the woods of Noxus.
Yone was passionate about finding her, he had to. Since Noxus was an enemy for Yone and his folk, it was even more dangerous than the fact alone that he was searching for someone so outrageous, in Noxus woods. On his journey, he found many new things about himself as a person and physically, he was “touched” by the magical effect of this tree. The nature around him seemed to interact in a special way with him, in moments he became emotional. He knew he had the ability to manipulate the elements, the only thing left was to find the right teacher for the right element.
On his Journey to find Annie, he already started adapting to some of Yasuo’s fighting characteristics, one of it being his speed. From his previous times with his brother, he already heard a lot about Monks and their distinct senses to feel their environment, without even relying on their vision sense, some of which who could even predict or trace movements in really exceptional ways. Following the Ionian Map, to Noxus woods, he would stop by at the Shojin Closter, to meet a legendary Monk, who’s tails were heard across Ionia, a Monk who was blinded by his own strength, Lee Sin.
Rest of the story would follow.
This Passive, should track extreme movements, like Dashes, Jumps (not sure about flashes, since that's a type of teleport) and light up the ground where it was used, in a golden particle fire color, for a certain time and gives him a movement speed boost, reasonably small one.
Swings his Sword in front of him, in the shape of a crescent ( should be exactly 180 degrees, in front of the Champion Model, but the whole area should conflict damage, not only the outer half ring, so i the end more like a semicircle) as shown in the following picture.
Furthermore it, should also Stack.
At the third Stack it should do a 360 degrees rotation, in a greater Radius than the previous two swings and while doing this it should release a kinda wavelike CC.( A type of Visual fitting to the element of Fire). The cc should contain a strong slow and a small burn effect, just for some seconds.
His W should be like a rotating fire around him, which appears around him after activation, and becomes bigger (visually somewhat like aurelion sols passive, way smaller radius) it gives bonus resistant and a small shield, also a small movement speed boost which also created a field of his passive. If this Fire hits a target who is already burning as example from his Q, he gets stunned.
When Yone is on a spot from his passive, he can activate his E, and dash on this straight line, like he would dash through the air, and no matter how long the path is, his dash is fixed to a specific length.
A small extra mechanic would be, that once he created a closed area with those dashes (for example as triangle), they automatically form a field for his passive.
His R is kinda empowering every other Ability with a small extra to it. It gives Bonus Ad, Atackspeed (His blade should burn up) and more Range for his different Q’s (the third Q in this Version should be huge, maybe radius of karthus E.). Also if Yone uses the Q in his Ultimate form, he builds up this passive Path on his own (The whole Hitbox Area of his Q), where he can dash through freely. With a lowered Cd of his E. The only Ability which doesn’t get stronger with his R is his W.
Q without stack
He has a Flowbar, which is stacking with different actions differently, to give him Buffs according to the way of stacking.
With moving (except moving in the river) he stacks Wind, which will make him faster for the rest of the game.
With auto-attacks he stacks up Earth, which will give him bonus resistance.
With running in the river he stacks up Water, which will give him tenacity.
With his abilities, he stacks up Fire, which will give him bonus damage on his abilities.
I’m not sure yet if he should be able to achieve all the Elemental Buffs, or just one, which he can choose after stacking enough.
Combined with the red buff, he stacks Fire a little bit faster
Combined with the blue buff, he stacks Water a little bit faster
Not included in design, only maybe if the Programming team, would like to add an elemental coding to all champions in league, we could make it that way, that every champion who is handling an element, gives Yone a buff in fighting. Annie fire, Brand fire, Nami Water, Malphite earth, Taliyah earth, Riven wind and so on...

Of course this isn’t even a beta version of Yone, i would have to test the different abilities in-game and maybe completely change them or make them more balanced. Unfortunately i don’t have a tool for such a thing nor the skill to program it. But if the Ideas of this Champion Design, even if one Idea seems to be “good”, i would like to work on this Project. No matter where i need to go and work, and no matter how much work this means. Not only do i like the Idea of this Champion but i like the game and i like his Lorebrother, Yasuo.
