Some Visuals can be demonstrated simply by using AI. The main description or idea for this game is a visual style somewhat in between a simplistic stylized Fortnite and fantasy/realism of BDO. The graphics have to be enough of a pillar to support the game idea and allow complete immersion, without standing too much in the foreground. Some examples of visuals of how it can look like would be here:
This is an idea of how the beginning area could look like: A welcoming Greenland, slightly stylized leaning towards fiction based realism
Another visual pillar should be the vibrant colors at times and areas where exploration and PvE fighting is prioritized
Obviously these are only some AI templates, the only idea it should convey is that there is freedom of design, so long as we are talking about bipedal beings, cool concept, origin and abilities that should align with the visual depiction of the core character
The weapons that can be equipped, will not be physically visible while they are being looted. The weapons will come in form of augments that will allow the player character to evolve some kind of rifle that will then mimic whatever rifle augment was equipped. Basically there will we augments like: Sniper, Assault Rifle, Pistol, Grenade launcher. etc that will either infuse the ability of the challenger OR be just an actual weapon. Some extra weapon ideas that would come with that are augments that enable a wider range of long range shot interactions are slingshots, whiplashes, chakra rings, laser guns.
Audio style: Audio style was my main responsibility during my time in game design, so despite my knowledge and respect about and towards the importance of audio, as long as there is no demo, there are no specific audio details that can be foreshadowed since so much else is so creatively packed. There will be ambient sound at all times, changing mood in rhythm and melody as the days progress but as always with the option to also just enjoy the raw visual and audio effects.
One Main Element of Audio Style is the ability to catch calm and energetic moments, I don't know if it's a possibility to implement a heart-rate system, that connects to flowing music from calm to explosive, depending on what is happening right now.
